KINARA Greenwich Trip 16th July 2014

The trip went well, everyone seemed to enjoy it all. We took a ride on the Emirates Cable Car to start with. We only had 2 people refrain from taking the ride, which was great because we were expecting a lot less to participate. It was all smiles at the end, everyone was very impressed. After the ride we took in the Emirates Experience next door which was free with the Cable Car ticket. Several members took a turn at the joystick or sat in the co-pilot's seat.

We gathered together after the "experience" for a cuppa in the Emirates Cafe.

We boarded the bus again and travelled to the Old Royal Naval College/University of Greenwich and visited the Painted Hall and Chapel. Lots of appreciative comments after these visits - they were stunning!

Lunch was served in the Queen Mary Cafe and then the group split up to explore the Cutty Sark, Greenwich Market, wander around Greenwich and a walk along the river. The weather was perfect, if a little hot, but mostly the day was a great success.
